Police brutality seems like it is becoming an epidemic. Here at the Free Thought Project, we try and expose as much of it as we can.

Scavenging through local news stories we have no problem finding a plethora of these atrocities.

So what is the solution? Well short of eliminating all police departments, there is not so much of a single ‘be all end all’ for bringing police brutality to a halt. But the technology does exist that could greatly reduce the incidence of these tyrannical events.

A picture is worth 1000 words, but a video is worth millions, and could even be worth lives. On-officer cameras are not some new space-age technology, but cops using them is very new.

Cops in Rialto, California have implemented this technology and have had some heartening results. They’ve seen a 60% reduction in use of force instances and an 88% reduction in officer complaints!

One potential problem with these, however, is that they do not record constantly, the officer has to physically turn it on. This leaves a window open for abuse.

Call your local PD now and tell them that you want your cops to be held accountable, implement On-officer cameras today!
