According to the A.C. Nielsen Co., the average American watches more than 4 hours of TV each day (or 28 hours per week, or 2 months per year). In a 65-year life, that person will have spent nine years glued to the tube, and for children these numbers are often higher.

The effects of a society being given all their information from television ‘programs’ owned and operated by establishment interests are quickly coming to fruition.

One incredible and jaw-dropping example of the vitriolic divide shoved down the collective throats of Americans who are glued to the TV comes from FOX 26 News out of Houston, Texas this week.

Every week, FOX 26 puts on a show called FOX-Faceoff. During these brief and often heated segments, activist Quanell X and ‘political correspondent’ Angela Box are pitted against each other in an ostensibly ‘open forum’ but with no resolution ever materializing.

The gruesome train wreck that is FOX news has a history of hiring racist and often violent correspondents and calling them “experts.” Such is the case with FOX New’s “police expert,” Mark Fuhrman, a convicted felon who literally said that he wanted to take the ‘police commissioner and all the n*ggers’ and ‘line them up against the wall and shoot them.’

Angela Box is no different. When Fox News picked up Angela Box she had just resigned from her job as a third-grade teacher after saying she wished ‘Ebola would take out Obama’ and called all Muslims ‘goat f*ckers.’

Quanell X happens to be the exception to the rule as he is an activist who has taken stands against police corruption for both white and black people. However, even Quanell X misses the point and ends up doing far more harm than good. Despite becoming an unwilling apologist for killer cops, Quanell X has remained mostly on point.

The most recent FOX Faceoff between X and Box was about the video of Officer Ben Fields violently assaulting a foster child for refusing to get out of her desk.

Apologists across the country have somehow tied party affiliation in with blind acceptance of police violence. Angela Box happens to be one of those apologists who demands conservatives accept police violence.

Disclaimer – those of us at the Free Thought Project feel that both parties function to attack your rights and take away your freedom, it is of no consequence whether or not the boot on your throat is from the right or the left foot.

As Box is claiming that officer Fields was fired for ‘doing his job,’ which included violently slamming a peaceful and possibly mentally disturbed girl to the ground and dragging her like an animal, she attempts to slander the young girl. Box ‘guarantees’ that this girl is a repeat offender and that this is ‘not the first time this has happened, not second, third or fourth’ and she assures us that ‘she is no little angel.’

Apparently actual evidence of her claims was entirely unnecessary, as Box assures us that she was a ‘teacher in the ghetto’ and that makes her an apparent psychic expert in the matter.

Box then proceeds to tie this girl’s treatment by police into some stereotypical ‘root problem.’ According to Box, this girl refused to get out of her desk because there is a group of people who want to hold police accountable for murder, known as the Black Lives Matter movement, who belong to a larger group known as all blacks in America.

The hardline conservative, who said all Muslims are ‘goat f*ckers’ then proceeds to say that black people have a ‘perpetual chip on their shoulder against everybody who is not like their self.’ Seriously.

After hearing his opponent just stereotype millions of people as obstinate and violent assh*les who apparently deserve every bit of police violence that gets inflicted upon them, Quanell fires back with a very good point.

Quanell states that he wants to see the officer indicted for assault and points out that a large grown man should never handle a little girl that way.

After eloquently explaining how the cop’s actions were entirely unjust, Quanell proceeds to miss the point, turning the already uncomfortable sh*t show into a tragic example of the divide pushed on Americans by the status quo.

After chastising Box for her brash and bigoted generalization of the black culture, Quanell then makes a brash and ridiculous generalization of white culture by saying we need to ‘deal with the crazy culture of these white boys who go in schools and shoot up everyone.’

Quanell is correct, most mass shooting in school are carried out by white people. But does this mean all white people want to carry out mass shootings? Of course not.

It’s at this point that the show breaks down into the epitome of the establishment’s agenda of perpetuating hate. Whether or not this was the deliberate nature of the show is irrelevant, because the effects on those who watch it will be the same. Both ‘sides’ will feel that they won and the ‘other side’ lost.

Zero progress was made in the bridging of gaps or attempts to understand different cultures. This is exactly what the status quo needs to keep you under control. You must be divided in order to be conquered.

Well I'd like to hear what you think about THIS…
