Filming your interaction with the police is NOT illegal.

When this motorcyclist was pulled over for the arbitrary ‘offense’ of driving with an ‘obstructed’ license plate, he was well within his rights to record this interaction.

This officer claims that he must first grant permission to be filmed and that is not true.

Luckily the motorcyclist in the video below is an informed individual and went through the proper channels to obtain the dashcam footage from this incident by filing a public records request.

This video should serve as an educational experience for law enforcement. Even though you try to prevent your own accountability there are those of us out there who will not just roll over and lick the boot of tyranny.
