“You’re gonna say your date of birth or you’re gonna get arrested!”

June 17, 2014

An independent journalist was exercising his right to film at a TSA checkpoint when he is assaulted by Baltimore Airport police and TSA Agents.

When the ignorant police show up they claim that it is illegal to film the TSA checkpoint.

Apparently they haven’t been to the TSA’s own website, which states:

“TSA does not prohibit the public, passengers or press from photographing, videotaping or filming at security checkpoints, as long as the screening process is not interfered with or slowed down. We do ask you to not film or take pictures of the monitors. While the TSA does not prohibit photographs at screening locations, local laws, state statutes, or local ordinances might.”

Police then threaten him with arrest for refusing to show ID and provide his birth date, without reasonable suspicion of a crime.

“You’re gonna say your date of birth or you’re gonna get arrested!”

The ignorance of the law that these officers exhibit is laughable.

Hilarity ensues, but does Adam get arrested or does he make his flight?
