BREAKING: Graphic Body Cam Video Released of Cops Murdering 6-Year-Old Autistic Boy

Marksville, LA – After viewing officers gunning down a 6-year-old autistic boy in a police body cam video during court on Wednesday, a state judge released a heavily edited copy of the footage to the public. Although the officers claim that the boy’s father had used his vehicle as a deadly weapon against them, the video clearly shows the father with his hands up and his SUV parked during the fatal shooting.

Around 9:30 p.m. on November 3, 2015, Marksville police began pursuing Christopher Few’s SUV after he had driven off during an argument with his fiancée, who was in a separate vehicle. According to police, the officers decided to conduct a traffic stop because Few had an outstanding warrant. But the Clerk of Court, the District Attorney’s Office, Marksville Police Department, and City Court did not have any warrants against him.

Prior to the shooting, Marksville Police Officer Norris Greenhouse Jr. reported that Few had rammed his SUV into the officer’s patrol car. But State Police detective Rodney Owens testified that no physical evidence exists suggesting Few’s vehicle had collided with Greenhouse’s patrol car.

In the newly released body cam video recorded by Marksville Police Sergeant Kenneth Parnell III, three police cruisers briefly pursue Few’s SUV for several seconds before he parks his vehicle and can be seen holding his empty hands in the air. On Wednesday, Sgt. Parnell told the court that even though he approached the driver’s window with his gun drawn, he did not pull the trigger because the police sergeant did not fear for his life.

“That car was not being used as a deadly weapon at that time,” District Court Judge William Bennett declared after viewing the body cam footage. “I daresay it was not even close to being used as a deadly weapon at that time.”

Due to the fact that the audio was turned off for nearly 30 seconds, the first gunshots cannot be heard. Police Lt. Derrick Stafford and Officer Greenhouse callously fired 18 shots into the vehicle, placing Few in critical condition and killing his 6-year-old autistic son.

Diagnosed with autism at the age of two, Jeremy Mardis had been sitting in the front passenger seat wearing his seatbelt next to his father. According to State Police detective Owens, three of the bullet fragments recovered from Mardis’ body came from Stafford’s gun while a fourth fragment remained inconclusive.

At the end of the newly released footage, Sgt. Parnell reported shots fired over the radio without ever firing his own weapon. On Wednesday, the court was allowed to watch the remaining 14 minutes depicting Few and his innocent son’s gruesome bullet wounds.

“I never saw a kid in the car, man,” Stafford reportedly said in the unedited version. “I never saw a kid, bro.”

Roughly seven minutes after the shooting, Parnell checked Mardis’ body for a pulse before muttering, “Oh, my God.”

Charged with second-degree murder and second-degree attempted murder, Greenhouse and Stafford await separate trials for shooting a man with his hands in the air and murdering his autistic son. Stafford’s trial is scheduled for November 28, while Greenhouse is expected to begin trial in March.

for the life of me, I cannot see why the police are firing their weapons based on the video. the car is stopped. I can see the man with his hands clear in the car. why are they firing?

    • Justin Borgnine

Because a steel baton, pepper spray and taser might allow the victim to survive and tell their side of the story. Their “30 seconds of missing audio” says a thousand words about the bad technology the police choose to use for their body cams. I have a dash cam and PRD (personal recording device) which I bought for my own safety, neither of which have any delay in sound recording. Just another excuse for police to try to get away with these senseless murders… they just misses their 30 second window this time.

The body camera records a 30 second buffer without sound when off. After 30 seconds the film is deleted. The sound comes on as soon as the officer hits record and the 30 second buffer is saved.

        • pyrodice

When they draw the gun, the recording is supposed to start, in earnest.

        • Laura Nicole Barlow

Really??! So, they get to CHOOSE what is recorded&what isn’t?? That kinda defeats the purpose, doesn’t it?? I mean…?!

      • ReadDeeply

why are they firing?? easier than killing us with their bare hands.

    • JennaTrull

They’re firing because one of the cops was obsessed with Mr. Few’s fiancee and had been stalking her. A child lost his life because some pig wanted to fuck his future stepmother.

      • Blaine

I cannot imagine them being convicted anyway….

        • JennaTrull

I can. This story has made national news and the details thereof are WAY too infuriating for the public to just let it slide. A jealous, stalker cop literally MURDERED a little boy because his father was engaged to a woman he wanted for himself.

          • Blaine

I’m bracing for the worst. At the least the charges will be reduced or the Judge will suspend part of the sentence.

Media reinforced hero worship in America is inducing cognitive dissonance among the jury pool and the general population. There’s no telling what a bunch of “average Americans” might find.

In favor of LE is about the only place where jury nullification is employed.

          • JennaTrull

I’ll hold out hope enough for the both of us that since there was a cute little (white) kid involved, people won’t be so quick to dismiss his murder as “some thug who probably deserved it anyway.” Remember, these aren’t black victims – they already matter.

          • StillCantBanMe

They’re black criminals, the media doesn’t want to acknowledge this.

          • Ben Gordon

Yeah, it’s definitely because the kid was white and not because he was a kid.

          • sv218

Nice try at bringing race into this but a bunch of cute little (white) kids were murdered in Connecticut (Sandy Hook) and that didn’t change anything. No reason to expect this to be different.

If it was a 6 year old black kid, it’d be the same if he was unarmed in the passenger seat within a car under the same conditions. It’s never under conditions like these, you just buy into the media narrative.

America cares about black people as much as black people care about other black people. The black community in America is on average more violent. The communities are filled with drugs, gangs, and black on black violence. 90% of black homicides don’t happen because of cops, they happen because of other black people. So tell me who’s lives matter to who? Last I checked, the largest group of people who thinks black lives don’t matter are black murderers. If 90% of black on black homicides make up a little less than 50% of homicides nationally, you have to question who’s lives matter to who.

You’re the one invoking race here, yet you neglect when black kids were treated properly in many other police instances. There are plenty of good cops out there, some in which I spoke with in civil discussion. It’s not really about race, you just bought into the media narrative that there’s this issue of black people getting killed by cops way more often than any other race, which isn’t true. Sorry to say, but it’s not a race problem, it’s our police system that’s flawed.

Statistics don’t support your reasoning, they only further support the narrative that police are too quick to jump to violence, and we need to reform our police departments to deescalate and not eliminate every perceivable threat.

          • JennaTrull

It’s always sad to watch a racist try to explain why they’re just being logical.

          • Marnie Culotta

Oh great a black hating police apologist.

To make it worse the father of Greenhouse is also the ADA for the parish. Also while Greenhouse was under house arrest there are videos of him attending a family wedding which violated his house arrest.

        • Michael Voight

That remains to be seen. I will point out that many criminals are not convicted, not just police.

      • Nettie Brodsky

Where did you read that? I didn’t see anything pertaining to your statement.

      • worldtraveler007

In every photo of Greenhouse, he looks like a cocky smug m*f*er who doesn’t give a s*it. He needs to be locked up where he can “service” his fellow inmates for the rest of his life!! And by service I mean getting it up his a$$ 24/7!!!! This is ALL HIS DOING!!!! Other cop at least looks like he’s remorseful.

        • JennaTrull

I understand your vehemence. Personally, I’d rather just see him shot in the back of the head and ground up for pet food. I don’t condone any kind of rape (It’s a dangerous path to start thinking that some people deserve to be raped.) but I’d love to know he’s getting his ass kicked and his food contaminated every day of his life!

          • Signed up just to school you

Are you kidding me? Grind him up into pet food sure but I’m not feeding him to my dog.

          • JennaTrull

Then set it out for strays! I’m sure a starving animal isn’t picky about being fed.

          • Over the HILLary

ROFLMFAO!!!! I drove for a rendering plant for 6 months. If you actually saw what gets cooked down for the protein oils in dog food & make-up you’d never pet a dog OR a woman. At least the guy isn’t bloated or swimming in a grease barrel like a possum or rat.

          • So… you object to “rape?” But murder and mutilation is just fine?

          • JennaTrull

            Weird, ain’t it?

          • James Moore

The death sentence is not appropriate for any human being as it prevents their consciousness from learning the complete lesson of life and therefore their next life will need to undergo similar circumstances. Better to let criminals serve a prison sentence appropriate to their crimes. Subsequent incarnations will then be more wisely lived.

          • JennaTrull

I’m open to reasonable suggestions. What do you think is an appropriate sentence for what this officer did? Make sure you read the whole story to get a good idea of his probable motivation for gunning down a child in an effort to kill his perfectly harmless father. This is a LOT more than just a police chase gone bad.

          • James Moore

            30 years minimum I’d say.

          • JennaTrull

That sounds fair, provided that he actually SERVED the 30 years and isn’t paroled in 7 to make room for more drug users.

          • BillinDetroit

Nah. Execute and let them start all over.

        • bob

you got it backwards. Stafford is the one who seems like more of a cocky thug pos. He’s also the one who is more culpable as he fired more shots and there is no doubt that he shot the boy, whereas greenhouse only fired 4 times and there’s no proof that any of his shots hit anyone. So Stafford is 100% a murderer but Greenhouse might have missed with all of his shots, we don’t know for sure.

I’d like to know a lot more about the back story. Apparently one of these officers was stalking the victims fiance but I haven’t been able to find any info about that in any of the stories. @andrewemmet and thefreethoughtproject, how about reporting more on that?

    • PSB

          • Cantblockpeople

If I’m an idiot, show me stats otherwise 🙂 blacks = violence, sympathizers = nignorant morons

          • James

firstly, you shouldn’t make arguments with “always” because it would be very easy for me to come up with an example that negates you – for example Jackson, MS has higher black population than Memphis, TN yet has a lower violent crime rate.

But if you’re wondering why black people commit more violent crime in American than white people, its because of poverty. Poverty breads crime. Blacks are poor because of slavery, segregation, unequal schooling, unequal lending, unequal hiring, racist police policies… etc etc etc.

You can’t oppress black people then use their lack of success as proof for why they should be oppressed.

          • Cantblockpeople

Did you mean BREEDS crime? If poverty caused violent crime why isn’t the Appalachian region one of the most violent places? Why isn’t the Asian district of San Francisco a death trap? Why, in poor areas, is the violent crime significantly higher in black regions?

          • JennaTrull

*proves she actually can block people*

          • HarryKnowlesFactChecker

Actually you dumb bitch, no you can’t block people, here I am again 🙂 and I can do this again and again and again, while you can’t get your head out of your ass.

          • Reader22

Sorry but that’s a poor excuse, slavery ended about 300 years ago! It’s what you make of yourself not the lame excuses you’re using!!

          • Brandon Smith

“Slavery ended about 300 years ago!”

Yeah, except for the fact that not only did white Americans decimate the family structure of African Americans by dividing up and selling families to whomever, wherever, they also made it ILLEGAL FOR BLACK PEOPLE TO READ OR WRITE. They intentionally, systematically, destroyed an entire cultures collective knowledge base or potential to gain knowledge because they felt it was a threat to their ability to exploit them for cheap labor. THEN, when slavery was abolished, the made sure that black people didn’t have access to educational materials or services. Not to mention continued racism that would see white people doing things like burning down the stores of successful black businessmen out of pure spite. Sometimes with the people INSIDE. And this behavior was perpetrated only ~60 years ago. People are still alive who lived through this. Remember kids having to have ARMED ESCORTS to allow them to go to school? Those people are STILL ALIVE. Then there was segregation of universities, where black people weren’t even allowed to get an education if they managed to be able to afford it.

The past is the past. This is all history. None of this is to blame white people for what happened years ago, even though THOSE PEOPEL ARE STILL ALIVE AS WELL. This is to shut down idiots like you who seem to think that just because something happened yesterday, it’s no longer relevant.

          • Marnie Culotta

Where do you get 300 years ago?
            Slavery ended in 1865.
Using simple math that is 151 years ago, nowhere near 300.

That has to be the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard!! Slavery hasn’t existed in any living person’s lifetime. Would you want to be held responsible for the crimes committed by the grandparents of your grandparents? i sure don’t!!! As far as all of your “unequal” treatment statements go, that is all a bunch of hog wash too. have you turned on a television in the past 8 years? In case you didn’t notice, the President of The United States is of African American descent! That, in itself, should go to prove that there is truly “equal opportunity” among the races. Quit making excuses and start making a difference!

          • It’s not the alleged “legacy of slavery” that causes poverty or violence.

It is the effect of social welfare programs: The destruction of the black family and the removal of fathers from black homes over the last 50+ years. THAT is what breeds crime and violence in the black community.

      • Marnie Culotta

Oh because we all know that whites with guns never equals violence.

        • HarryKnowlesFactChecker

What’s that almost entirely white city that had a homocide rate comparable to Detroit, Chicago, etc? Of course not.

    • Boycott Israel

Because that’s the way the terrorists train them in Israel.

    • Ben Schneider

they’re highschool dropout bullies with a superiority complex brought on by the badge. It’s not a mystery.

  • OvidiuGOA

These cops deserve people’s justice but people are to busy turning into sheep to do more than comment on Facebook

    • bob

oooh, how edgy! You’re so much smarter and wiser than all the “sheep,” because you comment on thefreethoughproject.com instead of commenting on facebook! SOOOO much more effective!

      • OvidiuGOA

The sheep part was about being lethargic and not taking action you molested idiot. About maybe not even being aware of all the shit. Not about commenting on fb vs other sites.
You tried to make me feel bad you only made yourself look retarded. I can’t come to America to protest for you

  • Mike

I can understand the 2nd degree murder charge, as they didn’t know the kid was in the car, but why are they not being charged with 1st degree attempted murder, as they clearly planned on killing this guy all along!

    • helema

Because, they cant get first degree to stick with these cops!

  • Nettie Brodsky

A lot of these excuses the police are giving lately is beginning to sound like a fish stories.

    • Ben Gordon

      Such as?

      • Trollhunter

“I was in fear of my life” for starters. Have you ever worn a badge? Been certified as a LE Officer? I have. I spent ten yrs as a cop and made hundreds if not a thousand or more traffic stops during that time. I’ve made dozens of “felony stops”. I’ve drawn my service weapon but in ten yrs I never fired a shot, not one. I’ve been shot at but didn’t return fire because I didn’t have a clear shot and there was too much risk of hitting an innocent bystander.
I worked in LE back in the 80s. We were trained differently. Not that there was anymore training in conflict resolution than there is now but the difference was we were trained that a lethal response was only called for as a last resort. The only time you shot at someone running from you was if you had very good reason to believe the suspect would be an immediate danger to others. The key word here is immediate. We understood that if a suspect escaped it wouldn’t be long before we found him/her and were able to take them into custody w/o killing them or endangering others, especially other officers.
LE is a dangerous job but certainly not the most dangerous. Things began to change in the 90s when the gov began to outfit small depts. with military grade gear. It was true we were being outgunned but a town of 4500 people didn’t need a 1/2 track and full tactical body armor along with M-16s. I saw officers I’d worked with for yrs begin to change before my eyes becoming more aggressive and less concerned about the public’s perception of them or the Dept.
County Deputies and State Troopers have it harder than Municipal LE. They are often out in the middle of nowhere with their closest backup 20-30 min away and they mostly ride alone. Municipal cops, depending on the size of the dept often have patrol partners and if not their backup is just a couple of minutes away.
After i left LE I decided I wanted to travel and see the country. I learned to to drive trucks and started hauling in the lower 48. I’ve driven through blizzards in mountains and other weather conditions that frightened me a lot more than I ever was working as a cop. As a Judge reminded me when in court trying to get a conviction on a guy that had blind sided me for assault on a Police Officer “it comes with the job” .The guy got a $25.00 fine and court costs, end of story.
There’s another element to all of this. While I like everyone else respect and thank our troops for their service, PD’s, Sheriffs Dept’s and to a smaller degree State Patrol Dept’s have been hiring vets that are freshly back from war zones. They were trained by the military to act as if they were in a battle zone and many of them come back with PTSD, often times untreated. They join Depts because it’s the closest thing they can find to the only training they have. If an applicant is required to take a Civil Service exam, which is most usually the case, they are automatically given an extra 10 points because they are Vets..it’s affirmative action for Veterans. On top of this in the last several yrs the Supreme Court has made several key changes as to how LE is expected to operate. A cop is not required to Serve and Protect now, they are just supposed to enforce the law and according to the Supreme Court, LE officers don’t need to understand the laws they are enforcing as long as they believe what they are doing is lawful. Well, the word “believe” is pretty damned subjective as in “I believed that the suspect posed an immediate threat to my life”Never mind the fact he was running from me at the time I shot him in the back”.
Please answer this question for me. Why should we trust the police? Yes I’m serious. When I was growing up we were taught that you could always trust police officers to do the right thing. We did trust them but things have changed in the last 50 yrs and the police aren’t giving us much reason to trust them so why do we blindly defend every action they take as if they were infallible? Honestly, even though you don’t hear about it very often there are ex-cops in jail all over the country for more minor offenses like theft, drug possession, fraud, sexual assault. I arrested a Deputy Sheriff who I caught breaking into a Dr’s Office looking for drugs. I didn’t know he was a Deputy until after he was booked but damn!
Really I think I’m wasting my time explaining this to you, I have a suspicion your nothing more than a troll trying to get a rise out of people otherwise I wouldn’t have to explain it to you but I figure others will read this and might get a grip on their emotions and start thinking more clearly about the underlying problems we’re seeing with LE today. Oh, yes, the “Blue Wall” exists and it’s a far higher and stronger wall than anything Trump will build along the Mexican Border. I could explain this to you as well but it would take far more time than I’, willing to spend on the subject.

        • Ben Gordon

Your time was wasted the moment you thought your personal experiences were representative of all cops’. Ever here of “cognitive dissonance”?

As for your story, unless you can prove all that, it’s just junk.

  • Bendy Bentley

I hope prison justice is swift with this one. And for anyone who covered for him, if they did.

  • At least they killed the retard.

    • Johnbbad

you are one asshole for that comment. shows who the retard really is.

  • imtoomuch

Black cops murdering white people, but it doesn’t make national headlines. Why? And this is an innocent 6 year old boy without a gun. Disgusting this didn’t make national news. More proof we live in an anti-white, racist society.

  • Joe

Being a police officer is tough these days. All that bothering with policy….so we should be understanding if they need to cut corners and go right from exiting their vehicle to firing their weapon without stopping to see what’s what. I swear, I should get my conceal carry license as it seems the only way to protect yourself these days is to just open fire and work the rest out later.

  • Hattori Hanzo

Why is autism always mentioned in stories in which a person with autism is involved? In this case, as with most, it’s not relevant to the story. The only story here is trigger happy cops that killed a kid.

    • Miranda Sigler

Because he was non verbal. There was very few words he could say. He couldnt scream and I’m in the truck don’t shoot. Btw. I was Jeremy’s babysitter since he was 10 months old.

  • He’s white, so no protests, speeches from politicians, or looting of stores.

    • Irene

It’s not because he’s white. It’s because the cops are being prosecuted. In most cases, they are not.

  • Michael Voight

What I want to know is why did the headline have to identify him as being autistic.
    How does that matter here?

  • craiggnt

Do we honestly think they will be put in prison LMAO. At worst they will get full retirement and life time health insurance

    • Hill or Don? How bout no.

Do we honestly think it’s something to laugh about?

    • Irene

Yes, they killed a child. I think people are taking this a lot more seriously than most cases.

  • jon

these idiots deserve to be put down. they made their bed. that badge carries a great responsibility and thus should carry a punishment of equivalent significance.

  • Rusty Golden

there should be no trial , however the officers and their families should have this done to them as a lesson . the families of all officers should hold them accountable for their behavior . EYE FOR AN EYE LIFE FOR A LIFE its only way they are going to stop

    • Irene

An eye for an eye does what?…leaves everyone blind. We already have capital punishment and it does nothing to curb crime.

  • Dr. X

hey Bro, you better get some vaseline or be in solitary……

  • wallyflies

    “Due to the fact that…”

    please stop writing.

  • Reader22

Funny how the headlines doesn’t read…..Black cops kills White Autistic Boy!! If was white cops/black boy there would be a big racist protest going on right now!!!

  • Russell Bluewolf

Why are we not holding officers to a higher standard and teaching them to use other methods of de-escalting a situation without having to use a firearm?…

  • D Mittie

Why the EFF are cops using their firearms as a first response?? The car was pulled over, it wasn’t used a ‘weapon’, jeezus don’t these cops know how to talk anymore??! Shoot first and ask questions after?? Don’t they know how to de-escalate a situation anymore?? This is just getting freaking pathetic and sickening. No wonder no one trusts them and the cops are so fearful they’re going to get gunned down… well quit freaking shooting off your gun as a first response!! dayumm…

  • Rick Elizzo

A child was murdered by the cops and we are babbling about what?????

  • Jan_in_NH

Will BLM be rioting any time soon?

  • OnlyLoveKeepsUsTogether

SERIOUSLY !!!! ALL POLICE Need to be required to go through re-education on how to control a situation without firing a shot. And ANY Cop who is so nervous or scared to be able to do that, needs to be fired ! IF Police can ” wing” a terrorist or other suspect they want to be sure is kept alive to give them information…WHY ….IF they have to shoot…Do the Shoot to ANIALATE !!! The all seem to empty their weapons in rapid fire…..THESE ARE NOT COMPTENT, REASONING TRAINED..CLEAR THINKINGINDIVIDUALS !!! …

  • anarchyst

If anything, police should be held to a higher standard than that of the public…As it stands now, police can commit crimes with impunity because, in most situations, they investigate themselves…Behavior that would get an ordinary citizen charged, convicted and incarcerated is routinely ignored by “the powers that be” because police are considered to be “above the law” as the “law” is whatever they say it is, the Constitution be damned…
Ever notice that police unions are “fraternal”? This should tell you something. The “thin-blue-line” is a gang, little different than street gangs–at least when it comes to “covering-up” their questionable and quite often, illegal and criminal behavior.
In today’s day and age, “officer safety” trumps de-escalation of force. This, in part, is due to the militarization of the police along with training in Israeli police tactics. This becomes a problem, with the “us vs. them” attitude that is fosters, along with the fact that Israel is a very different place, being on a constant “war footing”, and by necessity, its police tactics are very different.
There are too many instances of police being “given a pass”, even when incontrovertible video and audio evidence is presented. Grand juries, guided by police-friendly prosecutors, quite often refuse to charge those police officers who abuse their authority.
Police officers, who want to do the right thing, are quite often marginalized and put into harms way, by their own brethren…When a police officer is beating on someone that is already restrained while yelling, “stop resisting” THAT is but one reason police have a “bad name” in many instances…this makes the “good cops” who are standing around, witnessing their “brethren in blue” beating on a restrained suspect, culpable as well…

  • anarchyst

Here are changes that can help reduce police-induced violence:
    1. Get rid of police unions. Police unions (fraternities) protect the guilty, and are responsible for the massive whitewashing of questionable police behavior that is presently being committed.
    2. Eliminate both “absolute” and “qualified” immunity for all public officials. This includes, prosecutors and judges, police and firefighters, code enforcement and child protective services officials, and others who deal with the citizenry. The threat of being sued personally would encourage them to behave themselves. Require police officers to be “bonded” by an insurance company, with their own funds. No bond= no job.
    3. Any public funds disbursed to citizens as a result of police misconduct should come out of police pension funds–NOT from the taxpayers.
    4. Regular drug-testing of police officers as well as incident-based drug testing should take place whenever an officer is involved in a violent situation with a citizen–no exceptions.
    5. Testing for steroid use should be a part of the drug testing program. You know damn well, many police officers “bulk up” with the “help” of steroids. Steroids also affect users mentally as well, making them more aggressive. The potential for abuse of citizens increases greatly with steroid use.
    6. Internal affairs should only be used for disagreements between individual officers–NOT for investigations involving citizen abuse. State-level investigations should be mandatory for all suspected abuses involving citizens.
    7. Prosecutors should be charged with malfeasance IF any evidence implicating police officer misconduct is not presented to the grand jury.
    8. A national or state-by-state database of abusive individuals who should NEVER be allowed to perform police work should be established–a “blacklist” of abusive (former) police officers.
    9. Most people are unaware that police have special “rules” that prohibit them from being questioned for 48 hours. This allows them to “get their stories straight” and makes it easier to “cover up” bad police behavior. Police must be subject to the same laws as civilians.
    10. All police should be required to wear bodycams and utilize dashcams that cannot be turned off. Any police officers who causes a dash or body cam to be turned off should be summarily fired–no excuses. Today’s body and dash cams are reliable enough to withstand harsh treatment. Body and dashcam footage should be uploaded to a public channel “on the cloud” for public perusal.
    11. All interrogations must be video and audio recorded. Police should be prohibited from lying or fabricating stories in order to get suspects to confess. False confessions ARE a problem in many departments. Unknown to most people, police can lie with impunity while civilians can be charged with lying to police…fair? I think not…
    12. Any legislation passed that restricts the rights of ordinary citizens, such as firearms magazine capacity limits, types of weapons allowed, or restrictive concealed-carry laws should apply equally to police. No special exemptions to be given to police. Laws must be equally applied.
Police work is not inherently dangerous…there are many other professions that are much more dangerous.
A little “Andy Taylor” could go a long way in allaying fears that citizens have of police.
That being said, I have no problem with police officers who do their job in a fair, conscientious manner…however, it is time to call to task those police officers who only “protect and serve” themselves.

    • Georgann Putintsev

Loved your Fix It solutions… 13. All police side arms get put into a Gun Trunk, inside the cab, and can only be released if they enter the Police Code that is appropriate for use of a Gun. This Police Code automatically connects to the Police Operator and the time recorded to match up with their video camera. 14. All Police Officers must renew their Sensitivity Training every three years via a two week course. This can also be tied with some Local Community Groups (from the old to the young to the handicapped) that the Police & the Public can interact with each other.

    • Todd Newton

I’ll take any of those over the present state of affairs, but I dont’ see it as the ultimate solution.
I don’t blame the police; they are the local governments’s enforcement arm, nothing more nothing less. They consist of fallible men & women with a license to use deadly force at their discretion. The problem is government itself. If the office holders wanted the cops to stop abusing citizens, it would be done by now. They have the authority, the money, and the sanction of the citizens to act on their behalf. THey just won’t.

  • jjdoe

That cop just couldn’t wait to get out and warm up his gun.
And was the guy fleeing, or were the cops just pursuing him? There is a difference. Maybe he was first explaining to his son that the cops were stopping them?
A crime and a tragedy. Played out way too often.

  • I wish they showed the retards body with his autistic brains splatter across the car seats. I laugh when these autists get killed or abused. I hate retards. God damn.

  • Funkenstein✓Funkᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ™

Affirmative action and corruption will get your kids killed in a New York minute.

  • Brett Rapley

You had better throw the book at these cops. They should be done for the crimes they committed. Anyone else would have been. Fucking idiots, trigger happy bastards, you took the life of an innocent child. I hope to god you bastards DO NOT get off lightly after this. You need to grow the fuck up and change the fucking law with regards to how the hell you wankers deal with any given situation. I hope those 2 cops rot in hell for this, as that is all they deserve. I don’t give a shit of anyone does not like my language or tone in this. It needs to stop RIGHT NOW.

  • Jim Bronaugh

This has to stop. If these cops are that afraid to be in the field, they need to find another job.

  • rickstoner

They lie, they lie, they lie. They have been lying and planting evidence as a function of “policing” for so long it has become second nature. Now that a little autistic kid is dead and they lied about the ramming, lied about the warrant, maybe…just maybe people will see that in spite of many good arrests, there are many bad ones and many bad shootings the cops engage in…sorry a kid had to die.

  • Cop apologists be like, “Hey, they didn’t plant a gun on the kid. What more do you want?!”

  • Jay Bee

Its a truly sad case… But the only up side is they were not black and the police can be convicted now…kuz if they were black they never would have been charged…#blacklivesmatter

  • tracy Smith

The father should have obeyed the cops orders.Isn’t that what you white folks always say when the victim is a person of color.

  • Sonya Cosby Henderson

This is just disgusting. At the point when the shooting began, I can’t for the life of me see why they needed to fire. I hope they lock them up and throw away the key. These cops are out of control.

  • JackmeOFF

    Dead cops get me hard

  • If the victims weren’t white, would the cops still be charged with murder? Hm.

  • Scott Giblin

round them all up soak them in gasoline and set them a blaze. assholes like these are why people are starting to shoot cops.

  • Greg Rickard

I am unable to tell if the suspect is holding one or both hands up. It does make a difference which. It’s very easy to make a judgement without being privy to the entire video–especially when the video is very shaky and is not a record of the entire event.

  • DLC2

  • Robby Smith

So basically you roll the dice for your life every time you encounter the police. Armed, unarmed, warrant or not. You may live, you may die. You just can’t be sure these days.

  • FiuToYou

These two worthless cops should be in prison for life!! Then maybe this sh*t will stop. It’s almost daily!!!

  • Brandon Smith

Maybe when more white people start getting murdered by police, police brutality will start to matter to more white people.

  • Ultra7

  • Felix Lim

Public will NEED wear bullet proof space suit to stay alive in USA.

  • Kim Bak

“i never seen a kid in the car” well maybe you shouldnt be a cop if you’re not observant enough to see a kid in the front seat, but we are suppose to believe your flawed testimony of you’re story of murder.

  • Anthony Goad

Kill those pieces of shit officers for killing that innocent boy for nothing its a shame

  • Over the HILLary

So black men have white sons?? If that was a White man it would say STEPson but never mind the biased media.Remember the 70s they had strobe lights at potheads houses & Disco clubs??? Made everything look weird & out of synch.Same thing the Cops do with their strobe lights flashing. What did they actually say before murdering the boy????
Who knows, there were at least 2 sirens blaring for no reason. They reached their destination,no traffic was moving but the siren must give them a sexual thrill or something. They need to develope sane police procedure & stop acting like swat teams.

  • Ibcamn

cops are criminals…they just love to shoot..gets them bragging rights with their fellow gang members, you should hear how cops talk in diners and bars, disgusting assclowns…..

  • Happens all the time in minority communities 🙁

They feared for their lives….same story that ALWAYS works…Lets see how it goes THIS time.

The difference here is that they killed a white kid and THEY were the minorities…I’m 98% certain this will result in a conviction and heavy jail sentencing.

And people will say “hey, look we are doing something about police brutality…”

    RIP 🙁

    • bob

when was the last time a 6 year old minority child was shot by police?

  • Bill Hodges

The lack of riots and protests over this incident
is proof BLM is a racist group. Here is a
perfect example of police abuse of power and flat out murder. Only problem is the victims are white.

  • CatsPaw55

The cop says shots fired after he fires at them. Why the hell did he use deadly force when the man’s hands are in the air and 18 shots no less. Fire the cops involved and prosecute them for murder. And stop the rioting . It does nothing.

  • 2tor

Murder charge isn’t enough. We need public displays of justice, for all sides.

  • literate2013

wonder what it feels like to realize you just murdered an innocent child for no reason and probably got no punishment because you wear a shiny badge and work for bureaucrats

  • wolfsent

  • dooglio

    Gun control for the police.

  • ;^}

Woahhhhh, a BLACK cop killing a WHITE kid is making headlines? What a change of pace!

  • Faylee Bama

I am tired of these COPS…I hope they get death penalty for this! The problem with cops is we need cops that are not afraid of people, most of this crap happens because cops are scared. Why don’t you hire some grown 50 year old men, that are not scared, and will walk the beat. THIS IS BS!

  • Lana

Nice to know that the family will get some small justice with these pigs behind bars. and these are truly pigs, they foul the badge and honor of good officers.

  • The police did the human race a favor by icing the retard. I expect a hilarious Encyclopedia Dramatica article about it soon. The cops are heroes by cleaning up the gene pool.

  • William Strom

This is bs….people are quick to blame the police but look at what the father did and the situation he created. None of this would have happened if the father would have complied in the beginning. Everyone is looking for a scapegoat and jumping straight to the police. This is what our America has come too. Why not just listen instead of just disobeying orders of trained law enforcement officers. If people obey and not fight, a lot of this will not end in the endings we see. People talk a lot about freedom. But fight the freedom that has been provided to them. Tired of the misgivings of people fighting the law and then expecting forgiveness for doing it. With out law and order, you don’t have freedom. Criminals would rule your world and you would complain about that…..people…..

  • Allison Briley

I was saddened to see such a tragedy unfold right before my eyes when I viewed the footage. I think that ALL officers that were at the scene should have charges filed against them for not rendering aid to the driver. I wouldn’t be surprised if they just left the injured man in the drivers seat for 7 minutes unattended to in the hopes that he would die and they could plant a weapon on him or something cynical like that. I can’t even fathom what it was like for the driver to have to sit in that vehicle for so long with his kid next to him unresponsive. Shame on all the of officers there who just stood around shooting the $hit like it was the thing to do. What is wrong with people nowadays? It makes my stomach sick at what our society has become. It’s time to bring charges up against all of those officers and make sure their lives are disrupted and careers ruined.

  • this must be fake. everyone knows white people are immune to police brutality

  • Jonathan Hite

Break it down people. This was personal. A man and his fiance had an argument and other men decided to chase him down and kill him. No warrant, no evidence of any wrong doing at all. It was a revenge hit. One of those cops wanted that man’s fiance. That’s it.

  • Josh

“I never saw a kid in the car”

Maybe you should fucking be able to see what’s going on before you start shooting?

  • Paulmatthew22

More SHITTY cops,.ZERO RESPECT,.Pure MURDER ,.Shouldn’t even get a trial

  • Amanda Eivers

American Police are killers in uniform
