Many people were left scratching their heads in the wake of the first debate of Democratic presidential candidates, as pundits and corporate media outlets pronounced Hillary Clinton the clear victor; a sentiment not generally shared by the American public.
While establishment pundits and talking heads lionized Clinton’s performance in the debates, calling her a landslide winner, social media and online polls revealed a clearly different result.
The graphic below reveals how corporate media propagandizes the U.S. public, as editors of TIME, CNN, and Slate, had a starkly different opinion of who won the debate compared to the American viewing public.
In a move clearly revealing the lengths to which the corrupt media apparatus will go in an attempt to influence public perception, CNN was actually caught removing a poll in which Sanders was the landslide winner, only to replace it with a headline crowing about Clinton’s victorious performance.
These actions by CNN reveal exactly how the corporate media attempts to shove the predetermined winners into the psyche of the public consciousness in an attempt to condition them into accepting the inevitability of a specific candidate’s victory.
For those who haven’t yet realized that presidential politics is simply a soap opera like dog and pony show, and still wonder why CNN would be so blatantly pushing a pro-Clinton narrative, the fact that CNN’s parent company, Time Warner, is one of Hillary Clinton’s biggest donors easily explains this current reality.
One of Hillary Clinton’s largest campaign contributors over her political career has been Time Warner, as revealed by the Center for Responsive Politics, a non-profit, nonpartisan research group based in Washington, D.C., that tracks the effects of money and lobbying on elections and public policy.
It’s apparent that corporate mainstream media outlets are consistently attempting to propagandize the American public into believing there is an eventual inevitability of Clinton becoming the Democratic nominee for the presidency.
Candidates are controlled by the interests which supply the financial backing that allows them to run for office. Throughout this election cycle, there has been a clear acknowledgment, specifically due to Donald Trump calling out other candidates on this very issue, that candidates are beholden to those that finance their election campaigns.
The clear evidence of a “trusted news source” attempting to indoctrinate people, rather than reporting the news, should serve as a wake-up call to anyone that still believes the mainstream media isn’t engaging in propaganda.
