One day after Joseph Robinette Biden was sworn in as President, TFTP predicted that he would continue the most destructive policies of the Trump administration. We predicted he would bolster the police state — he did. We predicted he would continue the wars and expand the military industrial complex — he has. We predicted that he would not end the program of "kids in cages" and defund ICE — he has not — and in fact, he increased their funding.
Now, he's following in Trump's footsteps once again but this time, he's worse than Trump and the mainstream media is choosing to white wash it.
Over the past decade, staggering human rights abuses have plagued the country of Haiti. After a catastrophic magnitude 7 earthquake devastated Haiti in 2010, the Clinton Foundation went right to work raising more than $30 million for relief projects. But local residents claimed, “the projects never fully materialized while others point to luxury hotels that were allegedly constructed with relief funds in order to benefit the country’s ruling establishment.”
A report from 2015 noted that each year, the United States gives the United Nations more than $8 billion, and $3 billion of it is used to fund the group’s “peacekeeping budget.” However, the UN’s famous “Peacekeepers” have only created more devastation in Haiti, and even after they were exposed running a massive child sex ring, not one person was jailed.
The results of such an abusive and utterly horrifying environment has triggered a mass exodus over the last ten years with many Haitians relocating the Central and South America. This problem came to a head in July when the Haitian president was assassinated and a recipe for disaster unfolded when the country was hit by another devastating earthquake last month.
With COVID uncertainties spawned by government shutdowns, Haitians began trekking north out of the countries in which they sought refuge for the last several years and reached the Texas border town of Del Rio earlier this month. Because of the chaos and violence in Haiti, Haitian citizens are scared of returning home now that their jobs have run dry in countries like Chile, Brazil and Ecuador — so, they've come to the United States, seeking asylum.

But that asylum did not come — contrary to what the right wing pundits in the media are claiming — and the Haitians are being deported back to their "sh*thole" country.
barbarous According to the latest figures released by the U.S. State Department's Refugee Processing Center (RPC), the U.S. has admitted a total of just 7,637 refugees out of a total of 62,500 refugee placeholders. Even at its lowest point under the Trump regime, this figure was nearly double that amount.
For people outraged by Trump putting “kids in cages” as part of his crackdown on illegal immigration, Joe Biden is not different. Remember, he was vice president during the Obama administration which aggressively deported more immigrants than Trump and who also put “kids in cages." In fact, the photos used to first bring attention to kids in cages under Trump, were actually taken during Biden's tenure as VP.
Biden's cheerleading team in the mainstream media has been insultingly silent and they are only choosing to focus on the, albeit, incredibly disturbing images of agents on horses mistreating Haitian refugees, instead of the fact that he is no different than his predecessor.
But this should come as no surprise to those paying attention. Mistreatment and abuse of those seeking asylum is but a function of the modern day police state. The phrase "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore," is but a fleeting memory in the new America.
Instead of being welcomed, many of those seeking to escape the horrifying violence in their country, land thousands of miles from home, only to receive that same violence here. Sadly, this is the rule, not the exception as the state's only means of enforcement is violence.
