Orlando, FL — A video uploaded to Facebook this week epitomizes the current state of policing in America today. In spite of no crime being committed, a belligerent Orlando cop lost his temper and proceeded to unleash several minutes of a profane tirade on an innocent man — going so far as to try to instigate a fight and assault him with pepper spray.

The term unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe how Orlando police officer Jose Sanchez acted in the video below. He was belligerent, vile, oppressive, and unnecessarily angry — for no reason.

Ryan Romasco, a resident of Palm Beach, was in Orlando to visit his father and was staying at a nearby hotel. The incident started after Romasco and his father got into a yelling match, which prompted someone nearby to call the police. Romasco told Photography is Not a Crime (PINAC) he didn't remember what the argument was about because it happened in early January.

When police showed up, however, they realized no crime had been committed. But Sanchez was apparently unsatisfied with there not being a crime, so he turned his attention to Romasco. Sanchez then demanded Romasco walk back to his hotel — ten miles away.

As PINAC reports, Romasco did not believe the cop had the right to order him away. That is when Sanchez lost it. According to Romasco, he pulled out his phone to record after Sanchez physically touched him.

"Get out of the car, get out of the car, get out of the car and walk to the hotel, bitch," the officer yelled at the beginning of the video.

"Wow man, this is crazy," Romasco replied.

The officer radioed that he was in front of the Super Target on Millenia Plaza Way.

"That shit is insane, bro," Romasco said.

"Yeah, insane, you fucking little shit," the belligerent officer said.

Because Romasco didn't immediately bow down to the officer's insane demand to walk ten miles back to his hotel, Sanchez then abused his authority to claim this was now a criminal matter.

"OK, we get the county over here, you ain't going nowhere, bro. This is an active investigation, you're going nowhere," the officer yelled. "If you fucking try to pass me motherfucker, I will fucking take you in for battery LEO. I will ruin your shit."

As this point, the belligerent Sanchez pulls out his pepper spray to threaten Romasco — who had done absolutely nothing wrong.

"Shut up. Shut up. Shut up," the officer ordered. "And bite your lip all you want, bro, because if you're ready to jump, jump motherfucker. I've been hit before and all that shit. Jump, bro," Sanchez yells, attempting to provoke Romasco into fighting him.

However, Romasco kept his cool and kept filming this cop's insanity.

Eventually, according to Romasco, after the cops realized they had nothing to hold him on, they left. And just like that, a crazed cop was shut down by a peaceful person who refused to play his violent game.

As for the belligerent Sanchez, he's not in any trouble and has only been reassigned to a different position within the department.

A spokeswoman for the Orlando Police Department told Click Orlando Monday that the video is not new and supervisors have seen it.

"OPD officials were notified of the video by OPD officers and immediately initiated an internal investigation, which is ongoing," Sgt. Wanda Miglio said. "The officer has been reassigned and is currently under investigation by internal affairs for his actions. We take all complaints of officer misconduct very seriously and I can assure you this interaction will be thoroughly investigated."
