Raw milk from humanely raised cows is illegal to sell directly to the consumer in most states in the US and provinces in Canada.

If you are a state approved factory farm, however, you simply need to pasteurize the milk, and the means and conditions of obtaining it are irrelevant.

You can abusively force cattle into giant factory machines with complete disregard for the well-being of the animal. This abusive manner is, according to government, the way that milk should be produced.

Like the function of most state food regulation, the end results are brutally mechanized factory farms.

A hidden-camera video taken by a Mercy for Animals Canada investigator reveals the sadistic abuse that takes place at Canada’s largest dairy factory farm, Dairyland.

The video below is disturbing and graphic. It sheds light on how government ‘regulations’ tend to prevent humane and sustainable methods while propping up and in many instances, subsidizing the atrocious industrialized means of food production.

If you’d like to get involved in preventing future atrocities you can start here, Mercy for Animals Canada.
